Level 2 Group Training Class:
skills for the real world

Refining manners, improving focus, and staying calm under pressure.

Add your name to the list!

Overview:

Level 2 builds directly on the foundation skills from our Level 1 class—adding layers of difficulty, focus, and control. We introduce more challenging distractions in a structured indoor environment, helping your dog generalize their training while staying calm, engaged, and responsive.

This class is designed for dogs who have a solid understanding of basic behaviors and are ready to work around other dogs, movement, sound, and props without losing focus. It's the perfect next step before venturing into more unpredictable environments.

What We’ll Work On:

- Strengthening core behaviors: sit, down, stay, recall

- Improving leash skills and engagement in motion

- Polite greetings with people and calm behavior near other dogs

- Building duration and distance in stays and place work

- Problem-solving and confidence-building with props, obstacles, and light novelty

- Games and drills that challenge focus and impulse control under pressure

- Staying calm and responsive around distractions—not reacting to them

Who It’s For:

- Graduates of our Level 1 Group Class

- Dogs who can work calmly in a group environment without barking, lunging, or overwhelming arousal

- Dogs with reliable basic cues who are ready for the next step in consistency and focus

Not sure if your dog is ready? Reach out—we’re happy to help guide you.

Overview

Tired of being dragged down the street or having your dog lose their mind every time they see another dog, squirrel, or human? This one-day workshop is designed to help you reset the walk.

We'll show you how to structure your walk for calm behaviour, build engagement and attention, and navigate real-life distractions with confidence.

What You’ll Learn

- How to start your walk calmly before you even leave the house

- Where leash pulling and overstimulation really come from—and how to fix it

- Leash handling and body language for calm communication

- How to redirect arousal and manage reactions to dogs, people, bikes, etc.

- Engagement games to keep your dog tuned in on the move

Who It's For

Any dog-friendly dog, fear based reactive/mildly reactive dog who gets overly excited, distracted, or rude on leash. This is a working session for dogs who are safe around people and other dogs (even if they're over-excited)—not for reactive or aggressive dogs. If you're unsure, contact us before booking.
